turnitin logoNext week is Turnitin’s annual conference on student success. This conference is virtual, so you can attend their webinars from the comfort of your home or office. This year’s conference is focusing on student feedback.

You can find the full list of sessions on their website.

I’m planning to attend the sessions on Gamification (October 7 at 1pm ET) and Student Perceptions of Instructor Feedback (October 9 at 1pm ET). If you join too, send me a message during the session! And if you learn anything new that you want to try in your courses, let the Instructional Design team know! We’d love to feature the activity on the 1900 blog.

If you are not familiar with Turnitin, it is an online tool that checks students’ written work for improper citation and possible plagiarism. You can learn more about Turnitin and how it works with Canvas from our Faculty Guide to Canvas.
