Using Rubrics in Canvas

Thursday, October 15 from 1 pm – 2 pm in Olney 101: Sign up

We will demonstrate how to build and grade with rubrics in Canvas to make grading more transparent and efficient. We will also look at how to import pre-built rubrics into your course.

In this hands-on session, you will have time to experiment with adding your own rubric to Canvas and grading with it. If you have a rubric that you are planning to use this semester, please bring a copy!

With Canvas, you can make customized course welcome pages that provide students with what they need to get started and direct them to important areas within the course. In this self-paced training, you will learn the skills you need to build a course welcome page including adding images, linking to other course areas, layout and formatting, and other features.
