Has a student ever told you they can’t find something in your online course?

With the Student View tool in Canvas, you can easily see exactly what a student sees. This feature is helpful to make sure that course displays and functions in the way that you designed it. For example, you may want to test:

  • How a student would submit an assignment
  • Posting and replying to discussions
  • Viewing grades from a student perspective
  • Taking online quizzes
  • Viewing other course content like modules, pages, etc.

See the steps below for how to access Student View.
